Jose Antonio Ramirez

Master Ramirez is a martial arts virtuoso with over three decades of dedication to his craft. He holds 5th-degree black belts in Taekwondo and 4th-degree black belt in American Tang Soo Do, as well as the title of Sifu in Bai Lung Chuan Fa Kung Fu.

A retired U.S. Navy veteran, he is also a Master of Tactical Knife Escrima, showcasing his expertise in self-defense and weapons training. Since earning his 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo in 2025, Master Ramirez has remained deeply committed to advancing martial arts through teaching, training, and community engagement. As the founder and leader of the Christian Taekwondo League (CTL), he has mentored countless students in both Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do while upholding the values and traditions of these arts. His contributions extend to The Karate Association (TKA), where he actively teaches, conducts seminars, and supports testing processes, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.

In January 2025, Master Ramirez was honored with a 5th-degree Master Rank in Taekwondo and in December 2023 he earn his 4th-degree Master rank in American Tang Soo Do, reflecting his dedication to excellence across multiple martial arts disciplines. His pursuit of knowledge has led him to train extensively in Jeet Kune Do, Silat, and Filipino Martial Arts, broadening his technical expertise and enriching his understanding of martial philosophy and application. Beyond his physical training, Master Ramirez has leveraged modern advancements, completing courses in Artificial Intelligence to optimize the business operations of CTL.

His leadership and innovative approach ensured the sustainability and growth of his school. Master Ramirez is also a respected instructor on national platforms. For the past two years, he has led Tactical Knife Seminars at the annual IMAC camp for the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame, sharing practical, life-saving applications of martial arts. A Hall of Fame inductee and recognized History General at the Sport Karate Museum, Master Ramirez continues to inspire students and peers with his dedication to preserving the values and traditions of martial arts while shaping its future. His mission remains steadfast: to grow the arts of Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do, serve his community, and strive for excellence in every aspect of his martial arts journey.
