🌆 Where Trouble Hides in Plain Sight

You don’t have to be in a dark alley at midnight for things to go wrong. We train our students to be alert in places like:

  • Busy grocery store parking lots

  • Gas stations at night

  • School pickup lines

  • Inside shopping malls or events

  • While jogging in neighborhoods

Awareness isn’t about being scared. It’s about being prepared. It’s the calm confidence that says: "I see what’s happening around me."

🧰 5 Everyday Habits for Staying Aware

  1. Look Up, Not Down – Keep your head up and phone down, especially when walking to and from your vehicle.

  2. Trust That Gut Feeling – If something feels off, it probably is. Change direction or ask for help.

  3. Scan Your Surroundings – Know where exits are, who’s near you, and what’s happening.

  4. Don’t Get Boxed In – Avoid parking or standing in places where you’re cornered or isolated.

  5. Keep Your Hands Free – If possible, carry less. It allows you to move and react quicker.

💪 What CTL Teaches to Keep You Ready

At CTL, we give you and your kids the skills to:

  • Recognize danger signs before it's too late

  • Avoid unnecessary conflict with smart choices

  • Use your voice and body language with strength

  • Defend with purpose if there’s no other choice

Our goal is always the same: help you get home safe.

🙏 Faith + Awareness = Confidence

God calls us to be wise, not afraid. Proverbs 27:12 says:

“The prudent see danger and take refuge...”

We train our students to walk in strength, with faith in their hearts and clarity in their surroundings.

📅 Don't Wait for Something to Happen

Situational awareness isn't about being paranoid. It's about being wise and ready. The world isn’t getting easier—but you can be smarter.

Train now. Stay sharp. Be prepared. And always, get home safe.
